Dr Safira Carvalho graduated in Nutritional Sciences from Egas Moniz School of Health & Science in 2012 and holds a Postgraduate degree in Food Safety and Quality in Catering from the Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies.

Her career began in 2012 with an internship at the Cancer Hospital I of the National Cancer Institute (INCA) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. From this experience and the contact with hospitalized and outpatient oncology patients, she gained the awareness that the path is to nourish our body and mind in the most natural way possible and that simple things are the most valuable.

In 2013, she completed her internship at the Order of Nutritionists at the Pediatric Hospital of Coimbra and a Nutrition Center.

Subsequently, between 2015 and 2017, she dedicated herself to clinical practice, attending to adult patients with overweight and obesity in clinics and pharmacies in Lisbon and the Algarve.

She has been a mother since 2018, and from then on, she began her journey dedicated with love and passion to caring for women to help them have healthy babies.

Recently, she completed two training programs, one in Vegetarian and Vegan Nutrition and another in Preconception, Pregnancy, and Postpartum Nutrition.

Currently, she is undergoing training in Functional Nutrition at the Faculty of Advanced Health in Brazil, aiming to complement her approach in a more integrative way through a 360º patient view, focusing on individuality and thus optimizing results.

She is a woman passionate about nature and what it provides us, and therefore, her approach in consultations, whenever possible, is based on sustainable and natural nutrition, avoiding highly processed foods with artificial additives and pesticides.

Her mission is to inspire and help people make individualized dietary choices and lifestyle changes that benefit their health.
